I seriously don't know where July went. I had no idea it had been so long since I posted. I am feeling a little too lazy to download any of my pics from my camera so I will have to post pics later. Anyway, I guess one of the biggest things that has happened is that Aidan spent last weekend in the hospital. We had a really big asthma scare. He got diagnosed a couple months ago with RAD (Reactive Airway Disease) which is basically a form of asthma, but it just gets triggered by his allergies or a virus. Since then he has had an albuterol inhaler to treat symptoms as the occur. We have been able to keep in under control. Until last weekend. He spent all night coughing and all the next morning. This is usually the biggest symptom of his asthma. So when his inhaler wasn't doing the job I took him to an Insta-care. They gave him the usual breathing treatment and an oral steroid and sent us on our way. About an hour after we got home it started up again. He was getting really bad and having a really hard time breathing so I was on my way to Primary Children's hospital when I finally got ahold of his pediatrician. I decided to take him in there because it was a lot closer. By the time I got him there his oxygen saturation was about 65%. In case that doesn't mean anything to you that's BAD!!! It should be in the high 90's. Anyway they got him under control at the office but called an ambulance and he was taken to primary children's and stayed for the night and all the next day. Since then he has been on some preventative medication and seems to be doing much better. Other than they have totally changed him behaviorally. The steroids he has to take make him really wild and moody. We are hopin ghe will adjust soon, but it's been a rough week.
Other than that we have been doing good. Barry was in Canda for work last week. Aidan started Karate and loves it. Baylee is getting to be a real trouble maker. She causes half the fights her and Aidan get into. I actually sprained my ankle on Friday which sucks. I don't remember the last time I have done that, and I really don't have time for it. We went up the canyon and cooked tin foil dinners tonight to try and escape the heat. It was yummy and a lot of fun. We all love being outside. Well this was suppose to be a short update post, but I guess I had more to say than I thought!

Happy 4th of July!!
We had such a great fourth of July weekend. We started off Friday morning with a neighborhhod breakfast at Barry's parents. It was so fun because the same family in their neighborhood has been doing the breakfast for thirty years now, so Barry has gone most of his life. The breakfast was delicious and the kids had a good time, but I think the best part was the parade after. Barry and Aidan decorated Aidan's bike and he got to be a part of the parade. It was so cute to watch. He was smiling so big and giving us the proudest little wave. Baylee was just happy that they got popsicles at the end. She ate three!!!! She was such a sticky mess after, but was really cute. In the picture below of her eating the popsicle she is making an awful face. She makes the same face any time she eats ice cream or popsicles, but if you try to take it away you better be ready for a tantrum!!! Then we had some friends over for a BBQ and some fireworks at our house. I didn't get many pictures because I was too worried about the kids getting too close, but we had a good time. Warning****there's a bunch of pics so be ready. lol

Good Luck Danyette

A couple weeks ago I met up with my good friend Danyette and her cute little kids at the mall in Orem. We don't get to do it nearly enough but she is moving to Nashville soon so we wanted to get together before she left. Our moms are good friends and they came too so it was a lot of fun. It was also very helpful because we had five kids and they were quite a handful. We went to dinner at the California Pizza Kitchen, then into the mall and did a little shopping. My mom bought them all a little toy in the Disney store. We were ready to call it quits after a few more stops. It was really good to see her though, and the kids were all so cute together. Aidan is in between her two oldest girls in age, and our baby girls are only two weeks apart. Even though I don't get to see Danyette as much as I would like I will sure miss her when she goes. We still talk quite often on the phone and it's always good to talk to her and swap stories. Danyette and I have been friends for longer than I remember, and spent two awesome years together at Snow College. We had so many fun times and I have so many great memories with her! Just wanted to wish you and your family luck Danyette. Love you!!!
Baylee and Mya at Dinner. Baylee was trying to hug and kiss Mya the whole time. So cute!!!

Happy 1st B-day Baylee
It's hard to believe our sweet little girl is one year old. The time has really gone so fast. What a fun year it has been though. She is truly the happiest and sweetest girl. Everyone that spends any time around her is amazed with her personality. She can light up a room in no time. She started walking a couple weeks ago and has provided me with the new challenge of chasing after two mobile kids. That also explains the big scrap on her cute little nose. She did a face plant in the parking lot the other day. Poor little stinker. I think she had a really fun birthday and is really enjoying her new toys. I have to say though it really didn't come as much of a surprise to us that her favorite part was probably eating birthday cake. The girl can eat! I don't think I can even accurately explain just how much this little girl likes to eat. I have no idea where she puts it, but she out eats Aidan by atleast 4 times every single meal. She got to dig into cake two nights in a row because we had two celebrations and she made the best of it both times.
Playing with her new fun little kitchen set she got. It's so cute, and has a bunch of sounds and music.
Cute little princess wondering why I keep calling her name and asking her to smile.
This little toy is a ball popper thingie that Aidan had at one point when he was younger. He loved it so I thought she would, and I was right. I took video of them today playing together with it and it cracked me up. They were laughing so hard and chasing the balls all over. Cute!!
She is always this happy when she is eating but was extra happy to be eating yummy chocolate cake.
Oh what a cute little mess.
This is my best friend Chansey's baby girl Kobree. She is just two months older than Baylee and we are convinced they are going to grow up as best friends also. They are already so cute together, but not so easy to get a good picture of.
Nothing like a little mild to wash down all that cake.
She literaly could not shovel it in fast enough!
This is the cake that I made for our little Baylee bug. I made cakes for Aidan for his couple birthdays and hope to carry on the tradition. I thought it turned out really cute, and she sure enjoyed it.
Seriously, isn't that the cutest little face you have ever seen?Posted by Stephanie at 10:04 PM 4 comments

Father's Day Camping Trip
We spent Father's Day weekend camping at Strawberry Reservoir. We really like to go camping together and that was all Barry wanted to do for Father's Day so I was happy to oblige. I am so lucky to have Barry as my husband and know that my kids have the best Daddy ever. We love him so much and I know there isn't anything that any of us would rather do than spend time with him and together as a family. The weekend was a lot of fun. My mom came up and joined us and I am so glad she did. Mostly because we all love spending time with her, but also it was nice to have an extra pair of hands. Baylee is so busy now that she is walking, (and falling a lot) and was constantly trying to eat dirt. It was her first real camping trip but she sure had a good time. As for Aidan, he of course didn't want to leave. He is completely content to play in the dirt and with sticks, but the fourwheeler, and fishing doesn't hurt either. We took his bat and balls and used paper plates for bases and played a little game of baseball which he loved. Here are some of the pics of our trip. I know there is a lot but I really don't know any of the fancy ways to post them so bear with me.
Daddy and Aidan on the fourwheeler. By the way Aidan loves this helmet and wears it just to ride his bike in the neighborhood.
Getting ready to go fishing with his Spiderman fishing pole and tackle box, or as Aidan calls it his "Taco Box."
Baylee did a face plant off of her camping chair. It was really sad but I had the camera in my hand when it happened and I couldn't resist getting a pic. Poor little stinker!
"Nanny" and Aidan getting ready to go fishing. It would have been a super cute pic if there wasn't so much smoke from the campfire. Bummer, oh well they are cute anyway.Posted by Stephanie at 9:29 PM 7 comments

Tee-Ball Time
I had to post this picture because the same thing happens every week. The coach gives some instructions and says what they need to work on in each rotation and talks mostly to the parents. Aidan always looks bored out of his mind but entertains himself by playing with the grass.
This is his cute little group. Aidan is on the back row, second from the left. I don't know if any of you from Salina recognize the coach but he is my age and from Richfield. His name is Rodney Anderson and he was on the basketball team. He looked really familiar to me when I first met him, but I don't think I ever knew him. I just thought it was funny that he was from Richfield.
Baylee was bored and mad that she couldn't be down running around and playing with all the balls.
Aidan working on catching. They practice with Koosh balls which isn't very helpful because he just thinks they are cool and wants to play with them.
Swing batter batter! He loves this part and is getting pretty good at it. It's cute to watch him focus on getting his proper "stance."
Aidan running to third base. This is my favorite thing to watch. They each take turns hitting the ball off the tee and then run one base everytime someone hits. It's just to get them used to running the right direction and paying attention to the batter. It's so funny because you have to yell at all of them to run because there is always some one who is daydreaming and doesn't run and then they all start piling up. So funny!Posted by Stephanie at 9:56 PM 5 comments
