I have always said that potty training is one of my biggest challenges as a mom. Aidan was about 3 and 1/2 before he was finally potty trained and I thought we would never get there. I had always been told that girls are much easier and usually do it much earlier. I was counting on this! Sure enough before Baylee was even 2 she was showing interest in potty training. I took the cues as best as I could and we started geting her used to the potty. Unfortunately around this time we got a puppy, I found out I was pregnant, and potty training just seemed like too much for me to deal with. I didn't stick with it and we would work on for a day here and there but never made a whole lot of progress. It was so frustrating for both of us. For those of you that know Baylee well you know that she talks like a five year old. I knew when she would come up to me and say "Mom.....I need you to change my bum" or "Mom....where are the wipes? I am poopy" that it was time she learned to use the toilet. lol
Anyway..... I am happy to announce that my baby girl is potty trained! Once I finally got serious about it last week it really didn't take long. I am still having a hard time dealing with my baby girl conquering this milestone. Why is it that with our first kids we are so anxious for them to learn how to crawl, walk, and talk? I am noticing that I am holding on to the little milestones more and more as they come. I can only imagine what I will be like with this next little guy. Anyway...congrats my little Baylee Boo! I am also giving myself a big fat pat on the back for conquering my potty training nightmare once again! This is Baylee during our first "Potty training boot camp" back in April. We basically sat in the kitchen and drank juice and sat on the potty and played with dolls and read books all day. lol

I love this time of year!
I reall do love Fall! Unfortunately I don't think ours is going to be nearly long enough once again this year. Here in Utah we seem to just get a little tiny taste of Spring and Fall which are both of my favorite seasons. But we have been trying to enjoy it while we can. The other day I got a surprise phone call from an old friend Dani. She was going to Gardner Village to look at the witches. Luckily we live just a few blocks from there and happened to be free. Aidan was in school so he wasn't able to go with us but we had a great time. Baylee LOVED seeing all the witches. It was so fun to be able to spend some time with Dani and her girls. I had never met her youngest and she had never met Baylee. Thanks for the fun day Dani! Baylee and Isabel. I love the look on Baylee's face....she was so excited to see the witches!

Holy crap I have the cutest kids!
So....I happen to be lucky enough to have a cousin who not only loves to take pictures but does an amazing job. We went to Wheeler Farm the beginning of this month to get some pics of my kids. I knew she would do a great job but she totally exceeded my expectations. I just keep looking through them and can't stop smiling. Man I love these two kids! It probably doesn't hurt that they are absolutely beautiful, but I can totally see their personalities when I look at these pics and I love it. These are my favorite pictures I have ever had of my kids. I tried to narrow it down but had a really hard time choosing so there is quite a few. Thanks again Emily! You really are the best, and I owe ya big time!

Our Trip To Seattle
We just got back from a four day trip to Seattle. Actually we were in Sequim but not very many people know where that is ( a ferry ride and couple hour drive) so it's just easier to say Seattle. Anyway, we had an absolutely great vacation and owe a big fat thank you to my mom and Kelly! The reason for the trip is that my mom and her fiance have a new sailboat that they dock in Sequim. Throughout the summer they have been making trips out there every couple weeks and really wanted us to come see the boat and where they have been spending so much time. We were able to turn it into a big family vacation and my brother and sister went along with my family. We had a busy couple days but enjoyed every minute of it! There are a ton of pics but I had a hard time choosing. The bumer is that my camera died two days into the trip and I didn't get any pics the last two days....ugh! The kids on the airplane on the way out. It was Baylee's first time and she did great. Aidan has flown a couple times and loves it!

Thanks again mom and Kelly for such an amazing trip. We had so much fun and will always remember this trip! can't wait til we can go back!
